​​Facts about Flying Squirrels:

The Southern Flying Squirrel (unlike it's Northern counterpart which is endangered) is abundant in forested areas. They are nocturnal creatures that can glide impressively long distances. 

Flying squirrels occasionally end up in the attics of homes throughout Middle Tennessee. Though flying squirrels have two breeding seasons, both mid-winter and mid-summer, they more commonly enter homes in the Winter, as they seek warm shelter. The heat of the attic is less hospitable to flying squirrels during the summer.  

Though they can be difficult to trap and prevent, due to their small size and their ability to chew, Wildlife Pros have mastered the nuances of humane Flying Squirrel removal.
